Xmas Market Alert!

I will be at a Christmas market tomorrow! I know it's a short notice but since I 'overspammed' Facebook i hope most of you already know about it. So if you are in Sofia at that time you are welcome to club Maze (1 Hristo Belchev Str., Sofia) from 14 to 19h where many amazing artist will show and sell their works. You can find more about it here

Baaack again :)

Hey everyone! After a loong pause i decided to go back to posting here again. I promise to check all your blogs too, I've probably missed so much of the awesome stuff you made. So why haven't I been in Blogger? Actually I hadn't made anything new for a while and had nothing to show. I am also busy studying and had very little time for miniatures and blogging. However, if I get a chance, like this custom order, I have an 'excuse' to leave all my other stuff and miniaturize for a happy little while :)

Please, bring me to the sea ⚓

I've been dreaming about the sea lately. And what came out this time is a bracelet. It is painted with acrylic paints on leather and then sealed with varnish to protect the paint coat.

Why do I like to paint on stuff like bracelets and pendants but the white sheet of paper scares me so much? Aaah :) At least that is how I get one of a kind accessories.

I did not know that acrylic paint dries so easy on leather. Painting on it is very pleasant and it has a wonderful texture. I'll surely experiment more with it.
By the way I want to get a small anchor tattoo, too. But definitely not on the face :P

Time for update! [with tons of pictures and words]

I have to ask you for an excuse for posting so so rarely. And thank you to all who started following the blog meanwhile! Thank you!
So what did i do in those few months? I usually go to the university on time to time, i prepared a portfolio for another application (i want to change the subject but i won't tell more because I'm still not sure where i will be accepted). Meanwhile i work as a waitress, enjoy my new camera and a bunch of lovely old lenses most of which i got as a present, i try to learn to play the guitar and keep on rummaging for interesting books, films and .. shoes :) I started a new little tumblr blog to share what i like, write or photograph so if you are interested in my interests you are welcome ;D
Soo.. This is what i wanted to show you.
A book? Well.. not exactly.

My project was inspired by Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451". If you haven't read it yet, i can only recommend it (as well as anything else by Ray Bradbury).
The concept is explained on paper and glued to the cover. Here I will just mention a few key words which will give you an idea of what it is about.

"Fahrenheit 451" - a 1953 dystopian novel by Ray Bradbury. The novel presents a future American society where reading is outlawed and considered to result in antisocial behavior. Books are the major reason for a non-compliant with the system thinking and acting. Chasing, burning and destroying the left books is a task of firemen.

"Damnatio Memoriae" - is a Latin phrase literally meaning "condemnation of memory" in the sense of a judgment that a person must not be remembered. It was a form of dishonor that could be passed by the Roman Senate upon traitors or others who brought discredit to the Roman State.(Definitions quoted from

The torn heart represents literature, art and any spiritual heritage without which our world would be the dark and lonesome place Bradbury describes in his novel. It represents also emotions and memory which are invariably bound together and step by step build the human identity.

The wreath is made of paper, as well as the books, the book case is balsa wood aand the heart is made of polymer clay.

I hope I did not bore you!

The Pursuit of Cake-iness

Look what I saw today! A microscopic snail was sliding along my pencil and was eager for something. "Hey where are you going?" I asked it. It didn't even look at me while responding - "Haven't you seen what is on your eraser ?"

. . . on my eraser!? What.. Gee! A cake!

Ok, buddy. Let me help you... There you are.

(happy munching)

Happy Holidays!

Well guys.. are you ready for Christmas??
I am not!! I still have two presents to buy and I'm thinking and thinking!!

Besides that I will send three packages today. The ones for the States won't be there for Christmas but they also do not have to as far as I know. The other one.. I'll pray it makes it!!

The question is why is the inspiration for Christmas-themed jewelry striking me just a few days before Christmas? But never mind, I will forgive this to myself somehow:P The cute cuff is listed in Dawanda by the way.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM ME! I hope you spend a great time with the ones you love!

New Rose Garden Cakes

Hey everyone! I wanted to show you my new designs for the 'Rose Garden' cakes :)

This one is a custom ordered cake - when I remember how scared I was to make copies of old works for custom orders! And actually it isn't that hard to remake something. Of course it cannot be the same but it is still pretty... I think ;D
I love these vertical-layered cakes. I must have told you but: people, go and see the lovely blog of Dimitrana who makes the most beautiful cakes and who has actually inspired me to miniaturize the 'striped' cakes!

Just another blog post

I've been away from blogging for a while (every post starts like that haha :D) - a month in homeland on vacation and almost another full one in not making any miniatures. The first one was really cool, I love going home. And for miniatures I just lacked inspiration. Now I'm thinking of another 'big' project but God knows when and whether I'm going to finish it. I'm starting with the uni on the 19th and I don't know how much time I will have.

I plan to start a new blog to post all kinds of stuff that I found interesting and consider to turn to tumblr about it. Like this short film by Kirsten Lepore in which I fell inlove :D I already shared it on Facebook so you might have seen it.

Kirsten Lepore's Website and Blog

Last winter I started making my own stop-motion experiment but I neglected it for some reason. Now, after I saw her work, I feel inspired to try it again, it is just incredible to see the figures come to life! :)

Alice's Tea Party in 1:12 scale

Finally my Alice in Wonderland Tea Party table is ready! Two tables with all kinds of treats and tea cups, cake, butterflies and confetti.. This is how I imagine the tea party from my beloved whimsical story.
Everything you see on the pictures except for the glass and ceramic ware, metal tea pot and forks is handmade by me - tables, cloth, food, tea and teapot, sugar..

Million photos...

Details from the first table.. My Alice must be a French girl - there are macarons and croissants which aren't so typical for an English tea time but hey.. who said it should be by the book?

For the first time I dared to put a signature on miniature - the tiny heart on middle photo.

Details from the second table

You've seen enough of my 'giant' hands on the pictures, now I decided to take a picture with my eyes :D
The scale is 1:12/one inch. The two tables are for sale only together, if you are interested in buying, please visit my CDHM Gallery for information or directly contact me (

♥ Don't miss to see my sale (blush)
